The Bloody Mary (or the Caesar if you happen to be Canadian) is a post-hangover staple. It’s a must the day following a night of debauchery, which is a little surprising considering the tasty concoction of vodka and tomato juice (or Clamato juice for Caesars) is quite easy to get down when you’re nursing a devilish hangover.

So regardless of where you choose to enjoy your Bloody Mary following the St. Patrick’s Day festivities—on a sunny patio, at Sunday brunch, or on your sofa with your legs up and a cold cloth on your forehead—the garnish you use will make all the difference.
