On the first day of every December, since 1988, individuals around the globe unite in a show of support for those living with HIV/AIDS, to remember those who have died from the disease, to remove stigma and discrimination around HIV, to raise awareness about prevention, and to fight against HIV. Today we join in solidarity with the millions of people living with HIV. Wear a red ribbon as a symbol of awareness to show your support, and to put an end to the negative stigma put upon men, women, children, youth, or trans persons living with this global epidemic.
