The Young and the Restless is an American soap opera that has been on the air since 1973 and is based in a fictional small town in Wisconsin named Genoa City. Originally the show focused on two core families, the Brooks and Foster families, but now since all of the original characters have come and gone, the show has expanded to introduce new families like the Newmans and the Abbotts. The Young and the Restless has won eight Daytime Emmy Awards and is the highest-rated daytime drama on American television. Here’s a look at some of the most popular current characters on the show and how much they are worth:

20. Amelia Heinle

Estimated Net Worth: $4 million.

Amelia Heinle has pretty much dedicated her acting career to soap operas. She started out in 1993 working on the soap opera Loving as Stephanie Brewster. She has done a couple television movies and appeared in a music video by Everclear, but returned back to daytime television after working on Loving to appear on All My Children as Mia Saunders for four years. In 2005 she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Victoria Newman to replace Heather Tom – this career change has proven to be her biggest money maker and even won her two Emmy Awards! She also appeared for one episode each on CSI: Miami and Ghost Whisperer, but her main career focus has consistently remained daytime television, earning her an estimated net worth of $4 million.

19. Peter Bergman

Estimated Net Worth: $10 million.

Peter’s first job was working on a CBS series called Kojak, but his real success didn’t come until he got his first soap opera role on All My Children. Peter Bergman played the role of Dr. Cliff Warner on All My Children for a decade before jumping ship to join The Young and the Restless in 1989 as Jack Abbott. His credits outside of daytime television are extremely limited because he’s been so successful in his television roles, but he has done a few films like Fantasies, Money, Power, Murder, and Palamino. He’s also had guest appearances on shows like The Bold and the Beautiful and The King of Queens. His soap stardom has earned him an estimated net worth of $10 million.

18. Sharon Case

Sharon Case is well known for her roles on popular soap operas like General Hospital, As the World Turns and The Young and the Restless, but she was also a former model who even relocated to Japan for a while to pursue work. She relocated back to America in 1989 to work on General Hospital in a recurring role. She also appeared on popular series like Beverly Hill, 90210, Cheers, and had a regular cast role on Valley of the Dolls. Just before settling into her big career role she landed a recurring role on As the World Turns for a year, but since 1994 she’s been acting as Sharon Newman on The Young and the Restless and raking in big money! Despite her success in this role, she’s also had many other credits to her name in film and television. In many of her film roles she’s simply appeared as herself, but she’s also done some television guest appearances on series like Charlie’s Angels, The King of Queens, My Name is Earl and Castle. Besides appearing on daytime television, Joshua Morrow has also appeared on the World Poker Tour and in the television film My Stepson, My Lover.
