Today (October 5, 2016) is World Cerebral Palsy Day.
Cerebral Palsy (CP) Day is guided by the social manifesto, “We Are Here”. It’s committed to helping the global community of those with CP thrive. Even though individuals with CP may seem different because they may move, communicate, and experience the world in different ways, the 2016 World CP Day campaign aims to help others understand the most common physical disability in childhood, as well as their struggles, and hopes to create the realization that we are all, in fact, similar in many ways, and should have the same access, rights, and opportunities as everyone else.
