On October 15, 2012 Avmor Ltd. recalled one lot of its Antimicrobial Foaming Had Soap due to contamination. On October 18, 2012 the company expanded it’s original recall to include 19 additional lots of the product as well as 21 lots of its X3 Clean Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer. After those two recalls, consumers thought they were in the clear, however, the company has just announced another recall involving the same products.

Today, the Quebec-based company is recalling 4 more batches of the X3 Clean Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer. The products are being pulled from the shelves due to the possibility of being contaminated with the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which poses a serious health risk, particularly to people with weakened immune systems

If you have purchased and used this sanitizer, Health Canada is urging you to consult your physician. Individuals with cystic fibrosis, HIV-AIDS, cancer, burns, diabetes and severe lung disease are at a particularly high risk of serious illness.

You can see a list of the products in the original recall here. You can see a list of the products in the second recall here. And you can see a list of the products affected by today’s recall here. Alternatively, you can see the entire list of products and labels here.
